Established in 1948 and now in its 61st year, the Home News Tribune's Needy Cases Fund has aided local, nonprofit agencies including Elijah's Promise, Catholic Charities, the Franklin Township Food Bank and the Jewish Family and Vocational Service of Middlesex. The fund operates with donations going to local charitable organizations that will use the money directly for those less fortunate. All administrative expenses are absorbed by the Home News Tribune. Last year contributors exceeded $30,000. Donations usually range between $20 and $100.
To help us help our neighbors, you may make your tax-deductible donation online using your VISA or Mastercard. PLEASE NOTE: Donations online are made in multiples of $5 and $10. For instance, indicating quantity 10 of the $10 donation at checkout will calculate a $100 gift. You also may send donations by mail to the Needy Cases Fund, c/o the Home News Tribune, 35 Kennedy Blvd., East Brunswick, NJ 08816. Your contribution, no matter how small or large, makes a difference in so many ways to people in Central New Jersey. It saves families from eviction, fills gaps in medical assistance, purchases a warm coat for an elderly person or a pair of eyeglasses.
